YOUR GIFT TEACHES CHILDREN TO SWIM
EXPANDING ACCESS TO SWIM LESSONS FOR CHILDREN THROUGHOUT INDIAN RIVER COUNTY
In 2024, we are on track to serve more than 350 children in Indian River County.
Together, we are fighting back against unintentional drowning and expanding opportunities while teaching swim safety in a fun, supportive environment.
To teach a child basic swim skills costs $500.
To swim year round: $1,400.
$5,000 supports 10 children learning to swim during the summer months.
$10,000 pays for a full month of swim instruction for nearly 100 club swimmers

Float Hope IRC hires new Executive Director Beata Brewster
Float Hope of Indian River County welcomes Beata Brewster as it’s Executive Director. Float Hope is a local charity that seeks to expand access to learn-to-swim programs for children in our county. The need for childhood swim lessons is real as our community is blessed with the 26 miles of pristine beaches along our ocean and the Indian River. Beata is tasked with making sure all our children can swim. Call her at (772) 205-6819.
